Happy Birthday to the HBIC Minerva McGonagall!
She was always one of my favorites, especially in Deathly Hallows when Harry sneaks into Ravenclaw tower and is almost caught by the Carrows, but then McGonagall arrives to save the day:
“Why would Harry Potter try to get inside Ravenclaw Tower? Potter belongs in my House!”
Beneath the disbelief and anger, Harry heard a little strain of pride in her voice and affection for Minerva McGonagall gushed up inside him.
Tears. So many tears.
